Each Friday, the leaders of the various ministries at Victory Church & Christian Academy deliver email newsletters to all of the Victory supporters. In addition to receiving these newsletters via email, they can also be found each week, right here on the website. With so much happening at Victory these days, we realize the importance of clear and frequent communication. If you are interested in receiving weekly updates from Victory, just fill out the form at the bottom of this page and let us know what types of communications you would like to receive!
From Head Pastor Tim Gerdes
Are there limits for forgiveness? I think many of us wonder about that. We know that Jesus says, “No, there are no limits” but sometimes we wonder if it’s really true. Especially when we take a good look at ourselves. Some of you have committed what you think are BIG sins. Some of you have committed smaller ones but a lot more often. When we carry those things on our conscience, we wonder if there might be limits. I know sometimes I feel this way. Sunday, we’re going to look at Jesus’ teaching on this and see how it plays out with some guys who are very much like you and me, Joseph and his brothers in Genesis 50 (if you want to read ahead.)
If you missed the first session of our First Steps class last week (leading to membership) and are still interested you are welcome to come! See me after class to catch up on what you missed. It meets Sunday at 9:30 am, Rm 3, East Campus. Childcare is available in Rm. 7.
Check out the attached calendar of events for more activities!
Keep praying for the crew that has been meeting to discuss Core Values, Mission Statement, and Vision. The meetings have been fruitful!
Also, keep praying for the sale of the property! There is much interest and we are praying that God makes the right one work!
See you Sunday!

Greetings Victory families,
These first few weeks have flown by, but as the saying goes, time flies when you are having fun! Students have been working hard and are becoming familiar with their new teachers and routines. It is wonderful to see their smiling faces every morning.
Our Fun Run was amazing!! Thank you for all of your support. I can’t believe how many students told their family and friends about our school and raised funds for the exciting year we ahead of us. Thank you to Mrs. Chier our Fun Run Chairperson, Mrs. Yetter, Mrs. Abella, Mrs. Char, and everyone else who helped make the event so special. It was heartwarming to see the high school students, parents, and grandparents cheer on our students!
Gradelink accounts have been created for each student in 1st grade through 8th. Please make sure to frequently check your child’s Gradelink account by logging in at www.gradelink.com. Gradelink will help you stay on top of assignments, tests, and projects that your student has turned in or may have forgotten to turn in! If you need login information please contact your child’s teacher or Ms. Vera.
Thank you for choosing Victory Christian Academy. We are so blessed to have your children with us each day. I pray that you have a wonderful weekend!
