Coming up at Victory...

  • “Prioritize Praise” New Sermon Series Starting January 15th – Start the year with a new outlook on your relationship with God and life. In the upcoming series, we will explore ways to make worship our first choice in different areas of our lives. You’re encouraged to attend one (or all!) of the classes offered during the series that align with the theme of that week.
    1. January 22nd 9:30am-10:30am: Health & Fitness in the gym (all ages
    2. January 29th 9:30am-10:30am: Mental Health in the T1 classroom
    3. February 5th 9:30am-10:30am: Worship with Finances in the T1 Classroom
  • Victory Kids will now be held in the classroom directly next to the sanctuary space during the 11am service. Children, pre-k through 5th grade, will be dismissed in service and will now be picked up by their parents/guardians from the classroom after service.
  • Victory Community Choir is resuming practices on January 12th and will meet on Thursdays at 6pm. Anyone interested to join can contact Ariel McMahon at ariel.mcmahon@victorysouthbay.org
  • Victory English Tea on Saturday April 29th 1-3pm Save the Date! This year’s tea event will benefit the VRC. If you’d like to host a table at the Tea or help with preparations attend a planning meeting on Sunday Jan. 29th at 12:15pm. We’ll meet in Classroom T1.   • Backpack Bonanza #3 – February 12, 2023 – Bring backpacks and school supplies such as colored pencils, markers, non-spiral notebooks, rulers, glue sticks, pencils, pens, pencil sharpeners, erasers, construction paper, assorted size balls and new socks by February 26. This is a joint event sponsored by Orphan Grain Train and the LWML of the Pacific Southwest District.
  • MITE SUNDAY – January 29 Bring your mite boxes filled with spare change or paper money to help fund the many Mission Grants of the National and District Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.
